-----Question-----
Thanks-

I just went doen to check it out-

The head is missing- as well as the nut!

Holding a light to it- I am unable to see thru the hole- it seems as though the shank of the pin is embedded, and is flush on either side.

Whould it be safe to take a nail or straight iron and bang it thru? What do you suggest?

-----Question-----
Good evening-

A friend of mine just moved to Texas and gave me his Yardmachines snowblower as he did not need it any longer.
I started it up tonight just to make sure all in in proper order prior to our first snowfall. It started right up. However- When I depresed the lever to spin the Auger- I noticed that only one side of the first stage auger was revolving and the other was not.
My question is - are each side of the first stage auger supplosed to work independantly- and what do you believe needs to be done in order to have both sides rotate.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Send me the Model Numbers Off of the Blower, Please. With these Numbers I can Locate a Breakdown/IPL of this Blower and Better Assist you. There are Different Types of Auger Systems and I Feel Better if I see the Breakdown/IPL to be Sure off my Answer. Thanks.

 Hello Elliot:

Go to this Addy http://www.buymtdonline.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/topcategory_10101_15601_-1 and Click on the Launch Search Engine. Then Select the OEM(Yard Machine) and Enter the Model Numbers and Click Go. Then Double Click on the Model in the Search Results Area. This will Open a New Window for you to View the Breakdown/IPL of the Complete Machine. Select the General Assembly Folder. Look at Diagram #'s 36 and 37. This is a Shear Bolt and Nylox Nut. From your Description it Sounds like this Bolt has Sheared. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Hello Elliot:

Either the Bolt will be Missing or Take a Vice Gripe Pliers and Twist the Bolt Head or the Nut and it will Pull Out of the Auger. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please, Thanks Again.

 Good Luck

 Hello Elliot:

I Suggest Using a Pin Punch and Wear Safety Glasses. A Nail Will Work but they Tend to Bend if the Bolt Shank is Rusted Bad. Try a Bolt of a Slightly Smaller Diameter. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let em know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck
