Answer
 Hello Bob:

This Engine is Designed to Run on Regular Gas. Send me the Model, Type and Code Numbers Off of the Engine, Please. They are Usually Stamped into the Blower Housing(metal engine cover). With these Numbers I can Locate a Breakdown/IPL of the Engine and Better Assist you. However, it Sounds like the Carburetor Air/Fuel Mixture is Out of Adjustment. If this Engine has the Bowl Type Carburetor the High RPM Mixture Screw is Usually in the Bottom of the Carburetor Bowl. Turn this Screw Counter Clockwise 1/4 Turn and See if this Helps the Running of the Engine. If it Doesn't, then the Carburetor May need to be Cleaned or Rebuilt. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully
