Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): lawn mower wont stay running, carburator, code numbers

Question
my lawn mower only stays running as long as the priming lasts after that it stalls out? can you adjust the cable to keep it running?

Answer
 Hello Brian:

From your Description, If the Gas is Free Flowing to the Carburator, then the Carburator needs to be Cleaned and Rebuilt. Send me the Make, Model, Type and Code Numbers Off of the Engine, Please. With these Numbers I can Locate a Breakdown/IPL of the Engine and Better Assist you. On Some Engines the Carburator is Plastic and Most times is Replaced. If you have the Metal Carburator, then Soak the Carburator Overnight in Cleaning Solution(Gunk carburator cleaner) and then Blow Out All the Passages with Compressed Air. Install Kit. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
