Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): B&S V-twin 20HP Governor / throttle linkage, briggs stratton, throttle linkage

Question
Sigh,... I have spent the last 5 hours online looking for an illustration on the linkage assembly for my B&S V-twin.
Briggs & Stratton, Model # 407777, Type: 0174-E1, Code: 030501YG "Craftsman I/C 20HP Twin riding mower (42"deck).  The parts I am referring to are the 2 springs that connect the Governor and the throttle (#'s 209 and 211 on the Briggs Illustrated Parts List @ Briggs' site).

The problem started due to the fact that I own a home on a lake and there is some pretty severe hills.  we have recieved alot of rain here in N Texas as of late, and the growth was absurb.  I used the mower goining longways, perpendicular to the hills for long distances, and I believe that the mower being at a pretty sharp angle thusly pulling the oil away from the oil pump, and also that I probably lacked to ensure that I had checked the oil that day, led to a broken rod in Cyl # 2, just above the rod cap.  No worries, pulled the engine down, took pictures and layed everything out n sequence, so as to know which parts went where, and 4 days later a new crank and 2 new rods arived.  I completly cleaned inside of the case with solvent, blew everthing out, and did the rebuild ensuring that evering had plenty of lube as I went.  Engine went back together great, except.....(and pls don't laugh, lol) I let my neighbor help me with reassembly, and when he went to install the intake system, he dropped the springs that conect the governor and the the trottle assembly... and he, nor I now have any clue how / where to put them back in, which holes they go into, what conects to where, etc...
I have started the engine, and it runs great.  The governor is pulling the throttle back to "almost" an idle at start up, but when I went to increase the throttle, it races WAY out of the normal RPM range it has always ran at.  I have tried to set the springs in different positions now about 50 times, and am honestly lost.  As I stated, I looked everywhere for an illustration showing where the springs connect, and everything keeps sending me back to B&S site, where all I can see is the IPL.....  Grrrrr.... I know what the springs look like, and what they are for, i just don't know where in the heck to install them.  Any help would be a HUGE help (as long as u don't send me back to the IPL at B&S's site, lol)....  Please help before i get out the dynamite, lol....

Thanks in advance....

Answer
 Hello Gene:

I Wont Send you Back to the Briggs Site. LOL The Spring #209 Hooks into the Ear on Part #211(Governor Control Lever) and Goes to Throttle Control Arm on the Throttle Bracket. The Spring #209 Hooks to the Piviot that is Behind the Throttle Bracket, between the Bracket and the Engine.  When you Move the Throttle it Move the Control Arm on the Throttle Bracket and this Pulls the Governor Arm and the Governor Arm (by way of the Solid Linkage)Moves the Throttle Shaft in the Carburator. Did you Make Sure the Governor Shaft Was Resting on the Governor when you Closed Up the Engine Block. It the Governor Shaft wasnt Positioned Correctly, the Governor wont Work. Send me a Follow Up Question in 72 hrs. I have Sent Email to Several Different Companies Requestion Information as to where I can Locate the Pictures you seek. Hope this Helps. I am here if you Require more Assistance. Let me know what Happens, Please. I enjoy knowing the Outcome. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully
