The drive belt to the transmission keeps coming off after 4 to 5 minutes of use.

Hi Tom,

If the belt is old and the surfaces are very shiny and it's corners worn and rounded, I would replace the belt.  Also check the pulleys for a worn bearing that would cause wobbling or an out of alignment condition.
