Question -
Sir, I've enjoyed my Murray 20" self-propelled lawn mower for several years.  However, since the spring, it has been running a little rough.  Now I can't keep it started.  I've cleaned the spark plug, cleaned the air filter, and emptied and put in fresh from the pump fuel.  The primer bulb doesn't seem to be moving any fuel, and I don't have a manual to show me how to get to the fuel system to check the carb or fuel lines.  Do you have any suggestions that I can try to check out before taking it to a mechanic?  Thanks for your help!!

 Hello Teresa:

The Cause of your Problem is the Carburator. Over time the Gas Forms a Varnish Inside the Carburator Passages and Restricts the Flow of Gas to the Carburator Jet. Send me the Model Numbers Off of the Engine(located on the metal engine cover) and I may be Able to Locate a Breakdown of the Engine and Carburator for you to View Online. The Carburator needs to be Cleaned and Rebuilt. Hope this Helps. Let me know what Happens, Please. Thanks.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John

Answer
 Hello Teresa:

Thats the Model Number of the Mower. I Require the Model Numbers Off of the Engine. The Mower Model Numbers are good for Parts for the Mower not the Engine. The Engine Numders are Usually on the Metal Engine COver Above the Spark Plug. Thanks.

 Respectfully

 John
