Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Honda Mower Problem, honda mower, kind person

Dear John- I have a 1996 Honda HRM215SDA      S/N-MZBB6338435 My problem is that the mower makes a rattleing sound when running - Nothing obviously loose. I think the problem is with the blade brake assy. as several weeks ago the mower slowed severly while running, and I had not released the handle one iota. Any clues on what to check? have you seen this before? Also wanted to know what fluid to use in wheel trans, as I heard these are pront to dry up. this is 2 speed  trans, not hydrostatic. Are there drain plugs? as I did not see any. Thank you for your time in answering my questions and all others here. You are truly a kind person! If you could answer to my E-Mail I would truly appreciate it! I wish I had the money to buy a new one, but unfortunately do not.

This will take you to a List that has the Breakdown for this Mower. Send me the Model Numbers Off of the Engine, Please. I want to look at the Diagram for the Engine. Thanks.
