Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Trouble starting riding lawnmower, soleniod, electrical problem

Question
I have a Murray 42" riding lawnmower. When I try to start the mower I hear something spinning, maybe the starter but the engine does not start. I have to turn the key to start it and when I the starter starts spinning it won't stop till the battery goes dead or I disconnect the battery. I have to keep recharging the battery after every mow. When I am able to start the mower when I am finished and stop it it sounds like the starter is still spinning. Is the starter going bad or is it some other electrical problem.

Answer
 Hello Mark:

The Problem sounds very  much like the Starter Soleniod is Stuck. Replace the Soleniod. Also the Starter May Need Replacing Now. The Starter Replacement is going to Depend on How long this Problem has been going On. Hope this Helps.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully
