HOW DO YOU FIX A SHEERED PIN?
Answer -
 Hello Diane:

I need to know which pin?

 Respectfully

John HI, I HIT A ROD AND MY MOWER WEANT START. I KNOW THAT USUALLY MEANS IT SHEERED A PIN.

Answer
 Hello Diane:

Thats what i needed to know. Thanks. Remove the Blower Housing (engine Cover). There are three bolts ( 1 above the spark plug and the other 2 are located on each side of the engine in front. When the Blower Housing has been Removed then you will see a Square Tower (starter clutch). Remove the Small screws that hold the Screen to the Starter Clutch. Hold the Flywheel with a Strap Wrench. Take a Pipe Wrench and Turn the Starter Clutch off the Flywheel. Take a Steering Wheel Puller and Attach it to the Flywheel using the 2 holes in the Flywheel. Apply pressure to the puller and then Slap the top of the puller with a hammer. Tighten the Puller again and Hit with Hammer again. Do this until the Flywheel pops loose.  The Key you need to replace is between the Flywheel and the Crankshaft. You can see the Key when you pull the Flywheel. To assemble reverse the process (except for the puller). Hope this Helps.

 Good Luck

 Respectfully

 John
