Small Engines (Lawn Mowers, etc.): Craftsman Riding mower, craftsman riding mower, dc volts

I ran It Out of gas, refilled and tractor would not start. The engine is a BS 18.5hp ohv. Ive tested the seat switch its ok. Tested brake switch ok. Gas to carbuerator ok. no spark pulled it out gounded no spark. Took incoming wire off spark magneto checked with meter found no dc volts to magneto. accidently broke but repaced ingnition switch so thats ok. Starter engages well. Checked and rechecked than checked again all connections they seem tight.
Battery fully charged.fuel filter new. Just no spark

Most OHV Briggs have one coil.  On the coil you will see one small wire that is push-on type spade connector.

Dis-connect the small wire connected to the ignition coil, remove the plug and check for spark again.

Let me know if you have spark with the wire removed.
