Steering Column Repair: 1991 Steering Column 5-Speed Transmission

Question
QUESTION: Hi Douglas,

I own a 1991 Chevy Silverado C-1500 Pickup; V-6; 5-speed manual transmission.  Would you please be so kind as to help me find illustrations of the steering column for a 5-speed transmission so that I might know which parts I will need to repair lever right below the ignition switch.  Someone tried to steal my pickup and broke the above mentioned lever.

I've found many illustrations of the steering column for 1991 Silverado C-1500s, but they are for V-8s with automatic transmissions with the transmission shift level attached on the steering column.

Sincerely,
Angel

ANSWER: Hello Angel:
Sorry about your truck

Here are the parts we stock for your column.

They should be right.  If you need the trip lever also, I believe we have a couple left.  I will have to price them out.

QUESTION: Hi Douglas,

Thank you very much for your sources and your prompt reply to my question.  Do you the part number name and part number?  It's just the lever right below the ignition switch on the steering column on a floor mounted stick shift that you need to pull before you can remove the ignition key.

Sincerely,
Angel

Answer
Hi Angel...

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you.  We are moving our offices and I was detained.
We do not have a part number for that part, but we do have that part in stock.  It is not listed on our website, but the cost for that 'trip lever' would be $38.10 plus shipping.

Again, if you want to order these parts, we need to contact each other directly.
