Steering Column Repair: steering column, steering column, s10

my 2000 S10 steering column was busted buy thieves they broke out the ignition switch its hanging,how do i start it ,this way,IS THERE A WAY TO FIX THIS WITHOUT CHANGING THE STEERING COLUMN HOW HARD IS IT TO FIX?

At this point, I cannot know for sure if you need a column or just a couple of replacement parts.  I'm sorry about your truck.  If you can enclose or send am a picture I can tell you exactly what you need to replace and the extent of the damage.
