How do I reassemble the turn signal cancel assembly cam system to complete the reassembly of the steering column of a 1988 Chevrolet Cavalier?

Hi Carl

You need a lock plate spring compressor to be able to push the horn cancel cam and lock plate down far enough to install the snap ring.

They are broken down into step by step 2-3 minute detailed videos with instructions. Although the videos are for a Chevrolet truck, the portion of the lock plate and column you have is very similar to yours.
