Steering Column Repair: Steering Column Repair, steering column repair, chevrolet truck

Question
I have a 1984 S-10 Blazer with tilt steering. Yesterday the key stop staring the truck. I removed the steering wheel and discover that there is a broken part located on the left side of the key assembly that pulls up the rod that starts the truck. However I need to know how to remove the pin on this side to install the new part. Can you send me a diagram of how to replace this aluminum part that pulls and push the rod that crank and shut off my engine.

Thanks :-)

We have recently uploaded some videos on our website to give you first hand viewing of how to remove, disassemble, and reassemble the parts you are talking about. They are broken down into step by step 2-3 minute detailed videos with instructions. Although the video is for a Chevrolet truck, the column is very similar to yours.
