Steering Column Repair: replace steering column, buick le sabre, salvage yard

some one tried to steal my car and i need to replace my steering column now it is a 97 buick le sabre. i have it mostly removed but i cant figure out how to disconnect it from the gear thing. also i need to no what steering columns i can replace it with.

Hello Bryce,
The shift lever should just snap into place. Make sure there isn't a clip holding it. Sometimes they need a little lubricant to facilitate removal.

If you call your local salvage yard, they can interchange with Hollander for you.
