Subaru Repair: Transmission, subaru outback, drive auto

Hi,
I have a Subaru Outback 1997 automatic and I can feel the transmission is jerking from the 1st to 2nd (it is not a strong jerk) when I am in low speed. Is this normal or it is a transmission problem? I own the car for just a couple weeks.

I cant really tell you if its normal without experiencing it myself.Some times the Trans on your Subaru will shift harsh and while its not necessarily normal i have seen many work like this for a long time.
