Towing Issues: Towing w/out a pink slip, emergency road service, pink slip

I live in northern CA and have purchased a car that needs to be towed from the sellers house to my house, the only problem is they cant find the pink slip. Will AAA tow my new car without a pink slip?

Well AAA has some rules - regulations in which vehicles eligible for "EMERGENCY ROAD SERVICE" have to be "LICENSED - LEGAL" vehicles.

But what you are describing does not really fit the "EMERGENCY SERVICE" part of their operations.
Now I also know that AAA tends to do a lot of things which allow for vehicles to be towed which are not road legal, and at times which are not even owned by the member. I really can not tell you what the local branch of AAA will do in this regard. Worst case would be they tell you it is not covered and you need to pay for the tow.
