Towing Issues: Omaha, NE towing, towing company, getting money

Question
A few weeks ago I was towed from a bar's private parking lot.  My friend and I parked in the parking lot, walked to a nearby ATM (as the ATM in the bar didn't belong to my bank) and by the time we came back 10 minutes later, our car had been towed.  After explaining the situation to the woman whose job it was to watch the parking lot, that we were on our way into their bar and could she please call the tow truck and ask to have the car brought back, she refused.  I believe she and the bar are somehow getting money by calling this particular company.  Perhaps not illegal, but unethical.  The fee was $200 and it had to be cash (also seemed fishy).  Suggestions on what to do?

Answer
Have you spoken to the owner of the bar? if so, what did they say? Is the person watching the parking lot employed by the bar or a private person/security or off duty officer? Is it posted for parking for patrons only? (I realize you were going to the bar) As for the cash only, I would contact the owner of the towing company and ask them if they were aware the vehicle was only there for 10 minutes and you were going to the bar. Cash is sometimes required because of not being able to collect on checks, but if a driver did this without the owner knowing it could be an issue. Let me know and I will see what else I can come up with.
