Towing Issues: car trailers, foot beds, car trailers

Question
Sarasota Fl.    My car is 17' from bumper to bumper. What length flat bed trailer should I use.  Thanks Joe

Answer
aaaahhhhh,  semi lost here...

You are going to load the vehicle on a flatbed trailer and tow it behind an RV is what I am guessing here..

Well most of the trailers I have seen are 16 foot beds, but remember you are going to want to tie down the vehicle using axles and other attachment points on the frame, OR you are going to use straps which go around or over the tires..

I think you will be fine if you use a 16 foot one, but if you want to check more, go find out what size the bed of a U Haul car trailer is... That would be a good judge of size.
