Toyota Repair: 94 Toyota Low Fuel Milage, fuel milage, throttle plate

Camry has 134,000 miles. 4 cyl. 4 speed auto.  Runs ok with slight miss at 2500 rpm. Gets 9 miles to the gallon.  Have changed the plugs, wires, and cleaned the throttle plate. What is causing my problem?  Thanks.  MD

Hello, on this engine the ignition coil is located inside the distributor, remove the rotor and check it for cracks and burns, remove the coil cover and check it for the same, if in doubt replace the cap, rotor and the coil, these are known to develop cracks or high voltage leaks.
