Toyota Repair: 2005 Toyota Echo - Windshield Washer, windshield washer fluid, 2005 toyota echo

Hi ... my 2005 Toyota Echo has a warning light to indicate low windshield washer fluid level. I have re-filled the washer fluid reservoir yet the warning light remains illuminated? Not A big deal I know, but am wondering what the cause might be (assuming sensor of some sort) and is there an easy fix?

There is a fluid level sensor in the bottom of the waher tank, it can be replaced, it may just be stuck, the waher tank is located on the passenger side under the hood, you may have to remove the inner fender liner to get to it, the manual is not very clear on this. Remove the tank and locate the level sensor,remove it and see if it moves, check it with on ohm meter it should change from on to off when moved, if in doubt replace it.
