Hi Ted, can you tell me where the oil drain plug and oil filter are located on this car...which side should i lift to change the oil myself, or isn't it worth it?

On the 4 cylinder engine the filter is of the spin-on type, located on the bottom towards the front of the engine, the drain plug is 14mm size, you will need an oil filter socket and somrhting to turn it with and a 14mm wrench, all available at the local autoparts store. The V-6 engine has the oil filter also located towards the front but has the cartridge type filter, requiring a special socket to get the outer housing off, you will also need a container to drain the oil into and then dispose of it in another container that you can take to the autoparts store where they will take it to recycle, I would recommend Autozone or Kragen.
