Toyota Repair: 1996 Toyota Avalon Brake Release Switch, phillips screw, toyota avalon

Question
The fuse which is connected to the brake lights and the brake release switch (enables you to shift into reverse with foot on brake) blows every 3-5 days.  I think it is due to a faulty brake release switch which I want to replace.  The switch is located high on the brake pedal behind the dash.  I need to remove the lower portion of the dash below the steering wheel to allow me to access the switch.  Can you tell me how to remove that panel?

Answer
pull off the left door scuff plate then remove the kick panel, there is a 100mm bolt that has to be removed, there is a phillips screw on the lower edge as well the rest of the panel has plastic clips holding it on just pull the panell off, there is also a metal plate under the plastic that's attached with 10mm bolts.
