Toyota Repair: 2002 Toyota Camry engine codes, air fuel ratio, 2002 toyota camry

Question
I just changed the O2 sensor on my 2002 4 Cylinder Camry. The following codes now appear - P0420,P1135 and P0446. How do I proceed? The secondary O2 sensor was changed because the engine code said so. Thanks.

Answer
The 420 code usually indicates a cat converter malfunction, the p1135 is for the air/fuel ratio sensor located in the exhaust manifold, visivle near the radiator. The 446 code is emission control related, normally a leak in the evap recovery system, check and make sure the gas cap is tight or just replace it, it's the most common cause. At this time I would recommend replacing the A/F sensor then clearing the codes and replace the gas cap and then see what happens.
