Toyota Repair: 1998 Toyota Camery, coolant temp, throttle body

Question
3 months ago, I had replaced IAC valve on my 98 Camery 4Cy. I replaced it before because idling was very low, even it stalled on me several times. The same symptom has now come back again. I clean the throttle body, but it seems to be the same. What else could it be?

Please help.

Thanks
Mike

Answer
Mike,
does it do this cold or hot or all the time?
If it does it only when warmed up and then its
hard to start its probably the Coolant temp sensor.

How did you clean the throttle body?
The way to do it is spray a hole can of carb cleaner
in the intake (after you take off the rubber intake)
then jack up the car on the right side so most of the residue
runs out. When you start the car it will smoke real bad.
