Toyota Repair: Ignition module, 94 camry, brake switch, loud noises

Question
Hello,
I have a 1994 Camry with quite a few miles on it (about 176,000 and it ran fine) and it won't start.

A few days ago, I was driving home and my car just stopped.
No loud noises or strange bangs, it just stopped gently and I pulled off and as it came to a complete stop, 3 lights came on, the oil, the battery and the brake.

Now the battery is fine, but I have been having problems with my brake switch which I replaced and it stopped working again so I have been using the override to get the car out of park, its been working fine.
The oil was ok, and still is, but I have no spark and when I turn the car on and it turns over, but won't fire.

I don't hear the fuel pump(although its a quiet car and I cannot really recall if I heard it before I had these problems) so I called about thirty different places asking advice, what I assumed the problem was is the ignition module or something related, but no where in this area can test it, and seeing as how the part is new for 150.00 dollars, I do not want to throw money at it if I could just find out what the closest problem could be.

Is it most likely the ignition module?
Could it be the ignition switch?
I'm really at loss, this is my only vehicle, and I can't take any more days off work.

Do you have any idea?

Thank you for your time,
R. Coleman

Answer
After the car stalled and the lights came on, was the battery replaced and did it run after doing so, the brake light problem has nothing to do with it not starting but if the brake lights don't work it won't shift out of park, as you now know, I'm trying to determine at what time the car stopped running so it's important for me to know if after it stalled initially did it run again after that and was the battery replaced or jump started? I know that it may be difficult to post a follow up response on this site and at times I will bypass the site and make an exception so I can be contacted directly, contact me at tedrttr@yahoo.com/
