Toyota Repair: 95 corolla wont start, start car, coils

Question
car seemed to be running just fine then next time we tried to start it it would turn over but wouldn't start we took it to the shop and they said their was no spark and changed the rotor and cap it started for about five blocks was cutting out the whole time then died and wouldn't start again changed the plugs and wires I could smell the fuel on the plugs so we know it is getting fuel I don't know what to look at next thank you for your help

Answer
It's probably either a problem with the distributor or the igniter, the ignition coil is inside the distributor under the cap, they have been known to develop cracks or leak to ground, if the coil is not the problem then the distributor is the most likely cause, one of the pickup coils is the problem, there are no replacement parts available for the distributor so it has to be replaced as a unit.
