hi ted can you please tell me my cam belt broke on my 1992 toyota corona 2.0 diesel was replaced 88,000 kms ago  we were driving along at 100kms and broke would it have done any dmage to the motor at all thanks richard dawson

Answer
I don't know much about the diesel engines as they have not been sold here in the US in many years, in general the diesel engines will cause some of the valves to be bent because of contact with the pistons in which case the cylinder head has to be removed and any bent valves replaced.
