Toyota Repair: 60 amp ABS fuse removal, amp fuse, tccu

Question
Hi, I want to remove the 60 amp fuse for the ABS braking system on my 1996 Avalon. I found the fuse , but cannot remove it There is a fuse to the left of it & I can't remove that one either. The fuses that are right pop right out. Is this fuse removable? (It must be) I want to disable the ABS system on the Car until I can afford to have it repaired. Thanks!

Rich

Answer
The ABS system is disabled anytime an ABS fault is found. You have no need to touch the fusing, etc. It's just going to confuse the main TCCU (Engine/Transmission computer).
What ABS codes do you have? ABS codes generally fall under simple things.

Connect TC & E1 in the Diagnostic port under the dash. ABS light will flash the codes. Give them to me, we'll go over it.
