Toyota Repair: Power Window Toyota Corolla 2000, toyota corolla 2000, toyota corolla

Question
The drivers side power window will lower with no problem.  But when I press the switch to raise the window it only moves a short distance (less than an inch)  By driving for a while and then pressing the switch it will again ries a little.  I can continue to do this until the window has been closed.  I purchased a new mastewr switch and installed it.  The problem is still there.  Could the new master switch be bad?  Is there a way to test the motor?  Or?  Thank you.

Its the motor.
The brushes in the motor crack where the wire attatches.
Need to take the regulator assembly out and replace.
