Toyota Repair: 98 Corolla VE, corolla ve, pointer finger

Question
125000 miles, Automatic transmission 98 Corolla VE. I drove this car off the lot and has run like a champ until 3 months ago. I left the car at the airport for 3 days. I drove 15 miles home and parked the car for 1 week. I went out, it started like normal then the automatic always on headlights came on. I took the parking brake off but the brake light stayed on. I put the car in reverse and all the dash lights came on and flickered off and on then the car roughly idled and died. I have made several attempts to drive the car to a mechanic but it will not stay started long enough to get out of the driveway. I changed the battery, no change. 2 days later I heard the fan was on (no key in ignition) and the DRL relay switch was buzzing and vibrating.
I went out today to trace the wires and checked the fuses, no issue. The car will not stay on and dies in a rough vibration and I noticed the key was so hot it made my thumb and pointer finger red and I could not keep my finger on the key.

Thank you in advance.

Answer
I don't think I can help much, there is a serious electrical malfunction, it's possible that the car had been involved in an accident before you bought it and may have some major wiring damage. I would suggest towing it to someone that really knows how to diagnose electrical problems.
