Toyota Repair: avalon ac buttons not working, toyota avalon, toyota service

Question
I have a 96 Toyota Avalon, V6, 150,000+ miles.  The clutch on my ac compressor recently went.  Just before the belt broke all the panel buttons stopped working, also my outside temp is not regestering.  We have replaced the compressor (easier than removing the pully) but have been unable to find an answer as to how to fix the control buttons problem.  Of course we can't charge compressor if the control buttons won't work.

Answer
There is a Toyota Service Bulletin on that, I believe.
The panel and one of the servos need to be replaced.
One shorts out and burns out the other.
Check with your Dealer and ask if they can print you the "TSB".Then you can get a parts list and decide to fix it or have it done.
Not really a do it yourself job.The servo is way up under the right side of the dash at the firewall.
