Toyota Repair: 1987 toyota celica 2.0 L WONT START, toyota celica, turn signals

Question
THIS CAR HAS BEEN SITTING FOR ABOUT 2 YEARS I HAVE REPLACED THE BATTERY AND DONT KNOW WHAT TO CHECK OR CHANGE NEXT. HOW HARD IS IT TO CHANGE THE STARTER IF THIS MAY BE THE PROBLEM?
ALSO WHAT FLUIDS SHOULD I CHANGE SINCE THE CAR HAS SAT FOR SO LONG?

Answer
In order for me to be of any help I need to know some answer to some questions as follows:
Does the engine spin over but not start?
If not, when you turn the key to start is there any noise at all, clicking noise?
Is it an automatic or standard transmision?
Do the headlights come on and do all the accessories like the radio, windshield wipers, turn signals etc. work with the key on?
One problem may be the fuel in the tank, it deteriorates after time and may not be ignitable anymore, is there fresh gas in the tank, if the old gas is still in there it may have to be drained out and fresh fuel put in in order to get the engine started.
