Toyota Repair: Transmission, electric solenoids, toyota camry

Question
I have a 1997 Toyota Camry with 140,000 miles.  I went to the dealership to have the transmission fluid flushed and refilled.  A couple days later, the check engine light came on and the car will not shift into 4th gear.  Could the transmission fluid service cause this to happen?

Answer
Possibly yes, the transmission shift points are controlled with electric solenoids which get commands from the computer, there may have been some particles that dislodged in the transmission and caused one of the solenoids to become clogged or it may just be a coincedence, you need to take it in and find out what the trouble code is that turned the check engine light on and go from there.
