Hi, I have a 1989 Toyota Celica GTS with 115,000 miles on the car. My problem is that the power windows got stuck and I'm not able to close it anymore. What could be the problem. Is it a fuse problem or is there a motor on these power windows that's mlfuntioning? I'd like to do it myself if you think it's easy to repair it. Please help. Thanks a lot.
Answer -
Are both the windows inop or is it just one side?
Is anything else also not working(power door locks, dome light, radio?) check everything.
Sorry for not giving you the specifics. The left power door lock doesn't lock both doors. the right power door lock locks both doors. dome light, and radio are operable.

Answer
Thanks for the reply, replace the master switch in the left armrest, it's the most likely cause. It's fairly simple to replace it, there is a spring clip on the front that can be prssed in with a small screwdriver and it should come out of the armrest.
