Toyota Repair: engine died after replacing crk, cam & oil pump seals, toyota camry, toyota dealer

Question
93' Toyota Camry 2.2L Automatic Xmission
Had seals replaced by Toyota dealer 8/5 and within 24 hours the leaking of oil behind oil pan was still present.  Had ignition coil replaced 1 month prior.
The engine ran good until the oil light began blinking pulled over immediatly and checked oil, added 1/2 a quart.  The engine had a growling noise when idling and would dissappear at 2000 rpm.  The oil light kept blinking on and off until engine died.  About 10 miles from home the car died altogether.  Checked oil and was OK. Never over heated. Had it towed to the  toyota dealer and they checked to see if timing belt jumped or broke, it checked OK.  Now it's turning out to be something internal and a tear down is in store.  I have had this car for years and always leaked a little oil, no big deal...The dealer is telling me that they will warranty the repairs only and now I fear a whole engine might have to be replaced.  I wonder if, even if it is their fault, they will probably deny it....have you heard of this problem in the past?  Any insight would be greatly appreciated

Answer
It seems that the engine lost oil pressure for some reason, what that may be I have no idea, something may not have been repaired correctly or they missed a potential problem when the repairs were made, you have not much choice exept to trust the dealer at this point unless you want to get another repair shop involved to check what may have caused this, and yes, you are right, even if it was their fault they will probably deny it, not much else I can help with.
