Toyota Repair: 1998 Sienna Sliding Door Rattles, passanger side, autoparts store

Question
Our Sienna with 72k miles has annoying door rattles on both sides (manual sliders).  It is worse on the passanger side, though.  We have also repeatedly had trouble with the passenger side door lock failing, or gradually the door becomes impossible to open from the inside.  I have had it "adjusted"  once at the dealer, and once at another shop.  The vehicle is otherwide tight and quiet.  Is there any way to definitively, or at least periodically (on my own, without a wallet excision), fix the rattling?

Answer
Go to any autoparts store and buy a door striker plate lube stick, lubricate all contacting surfaces, this seems to work and Toyota has actually issued a service bulletin to that effect, lubricate the door lock contacts and also the electrical connectors and all the plastic contacts on the door and the body.
