Toyota Repair: key ignition, release pin, lock cylinder

Question
I have a 1992 Corola and the tip of the key broke off in the ignition.I have been able to start it but I should repair it. Can I remove the guts to the switch so I can get to the key?

Answer
Yes it can be done, you have to remove the ignition lock cylinder, remove the covers around the lock, turn the ignition to the "ACC' position, there is a small hole on the housing witha release pin inside when you depress the pin the lock will come out, the it has to be disassembled, I would recommend you take it to a locksmith or the toyota dealer for this.
