Toyota Repair: 4Runner service reminder lights, air flow meter, emission control system

Question
I am in Baja California about 1000 miles from a Toyota dealer, driving a 2001 V6 Toyota 4Runner with about 44,000 miles and 35 months of service. When I started the engine today the VSC TRAC, TRAC OFF and CHECK (with engine symbol) lights all came on and stayed on until turning off engine. This now happens each time the engine is on.Car drives normally. Is it safe to drive it the 1000 miles back to the USA?

Thanks

Answer
Probably yes, most check engine lights are triggered by an emission control system failure or an engine misfire, you said the engine runs fine so I don't think that it's a misfire.
One of the most common trouble codes is related to the air flow meter, the sensor wire in it gets coated with debris or dust( in your case this is very likely) have you checked the air filter?
As soon as the computer detects a problem with any of the input signals it will disable the VSC and TRAC control, there is nothing wrong with these systems, but they will be disabled until the check engine light condition is fixed so keep that in mind.
If I can be of more help let me know.
