Toyota Repair: Transfer Case, 1994 toyota t100, toyota t100

I have a 1994 toyota T100.  This truck has the 3VZE egine witth a automatic tranny.  My qusetion is about the transfer case. Currently it will not engage.  It never made a sound it just would not engage one day.  I was wondering if this could be electrical or if there could be a vaccum line that is plugged.  Thank you,  Jeff Thomsen

Hello Jeffrey, does the 4x4 indicator light come on?
There is a vacuum operated actuator on the front differential that may be the cause, the fittings tend to clog up and so the front diff won't engage, you can remove the actuator and apply vacuum to the ports to see if it moves.
