Volkswagen Repair: Fuse?, blown fuse, market radio

Question
Ok well the other day a couple of people and i were installing a cd player in my 1998 Jetta stick 2.0. Anyway someone blew a fuse and now the interior lights,open/lock buttons on remote starter do nothing, trunk open button under console flap dosen't work, and when you try to lock the doors and open them again the alarm goes off...Is this hopefully just the fuse or something else?and like i said before a fuse was defenetly blown

Answer
The system which the fuse was blown may have a another fuse on another current path not in line but on a paralel circuit. The after market radio may have been installed with the comfort alarm system wiring. Unlikely but see where the power and ground is coming from to the cd changer. Check all fuses. The problem sounds like a blown fuse. Is this a factory alarm system or a aftermarket?
