Volvo Repair: 1990 Volvo 740gl, gas car, reset button

Question
Is there a fuel reset button? Vehicle was ran out of gas. the fuel pump and relay have both been replaced but it still isn't getting any gas. Car will start if starting fluid is used but only run until the spray is gone.

  Did you replace the "in tank" pump? Also known as the pre pump? It probably burned up when it ran dry?
  Can you hear the main pump running? (Buzzing) Lean down and listen for it or put your hand on it while cranking to see if it's running and get back to me.
