The TRACS/STC warning light came on.  What does it mean? Do I need to have it checked out? Can I drive the car?

you tracs/sts is  abs  is not working correct you can drive it  but you need to check  it out asap  it is  important to have abs  working  correct on brakes  it makes the car stop better and you have better control  when braking in emergency's are you from chicago area?
