BMW Repair: bmw driver door, manual haynes, 1994 bmw 530i

Question
I have a 1994 bmw 530i and the driver side door won't open from
the instide but it will open from the out and it will lock but I have to
turn the key lock twice to lock the doors, what's going on? and how
do I take the door panel off to look inside?

Greg, Most probable cause is a broke inner handle or cable. There is a screw behind the mirror adjust switch, inner door handle cover, and window crank. Remove retainer on inner handle and remove window crank. Carefully pry the panel off starting in rear. You may need to buy panel clips to replace the ones that will break. If you do some work on your car yourself you NEED a repair manual (haynes or chilton). Hope this helps.
