Volvo Repair: Volvo 940 Wagon Radio Wiring, volvo 940 wagon, knee panel

I am trying to replace the stock cassette radio with an after-market cd player.  I understand that I need to bypass the amp to get the sound to the speakers.  I am at a loss for how to do this.  Please advise.

Ryan, basically you need to run wires from the amp wires to the new radio.  The amp is under the drivers knee panel.  I dont remember the exact wires to each speaker but you can test it with a 9v battery.  Yellow/white are usually the fron speakers.   Roger
