Volvo Repair: 1992 940 GL Volvo., throtle body, mint condition

Question
I have a falter when idling and a hesitation at 100kph. I have replaced the idle control valve and the air control assembly. The motor would just fade out and stop before this was done, but this small problem still remains. I live in Tasmania and it has our local mechanics baffled. Can you give me a hint. The fuel body, well I paid for that to be cleaned but I am unsure as to whether it was done properly. I have disconnected the battery for long periods as I believe that resets the computer. The car has done nearly 400,000 K since bought new and is other wise in mint condition as I have had all the services.

Answer
John, Wow, you are a long ways away arent you?  Anyway, Im assuming what you call a fuel body is a Throtle body cleaning.  If you have the tools to do a pressure cleaning on the fuel injectors that may help.  Did you replace the cap, rotor, plugs and wires?  Roger
