Volvo Repair: Instrument cluster wiring, instrument cluster, wire connector

Question
I replaced the gears in the odometer of my 1986 240 DL, and when I went to rehookup and insert the instrument cluster, I seem to have an extra two connectors from the wiring harness. One is a single red/orange (or yellow) with a connector I can't find a pin for, the other is a three wire connector - blue, black and red/black, again no connector. Am I missing the boat entirely or are these possibly connections for the two guages I don't have? Thanks, Carter

PS: Does anyone have a photo of what the back of a correctly wired instrument cluster looks like???

Answer
Carter, Yeah its called memory and you are missing the connector on the back of the cluster.  Its the half moon and its there on the back of the cluster.  as far as the yellow wire, that goes in the lower right corner of the cluster.  Do NOT hook the red/white wire if your car does not have a tach.  Roger
