Cadillac: wheres the belt tensioner??, front wheel drive, belt tensioner

I need to replace the alternator, and i cannot find the belt tensioner on my 89 sedan deville. It's front wheel drive and a V8.Don't laugh, it's the first cadillac i've worked on and i can't find it anywhere!!! thanks
