GM-GMC: 96 Chevy S10 wipers, chevy s10, printed circuit board

When the weather gets warm, my windshield wipers stop working.Can you tell me what to look for to fix this?

At one time there was a recall on the pulse boards for blazer and s-10's.  The pulse board is the printed circuit board which is mounted to the motor assembly and it controls the speeds etc etc based on the inputs from the switch.  They were quite notorious for malfunctioning, it would be the first thing I looked at.  There are only a few screws that hold the cover on and of course the large plug on one end.  Most jobber part stores keep them or the dealership with have one likely.
