GM-GMC: 1997 blower motor resistor, relay of motor?, chevy s10 blazer, blower motor resistor

Question
My chevy s10 blazer fan will not turn on. I was having troubles with the fan motor and then read about replacing the resistor, which I did two weeks ago. The blower worked for a week and then the other morning when I went to leave for work the fan would not turn on. I picked up another resistor from the chevy dealer thinking it may have been a bad one (after marker). Crazy enough it worked on the drive over to the dealer. When I got home it was not working. I changed the resistor but I still does not work. I can hear a clicking noise which sounds like it's in the firewall area when I toggle between speeds 3 and 4. Could it be a relay or fuse that I'm overlooking?

Answer
Use a test light and check for power and ground at the motor connector. If there is power and ground and the fan does not run, you need a new fan motor.  If there is no power check for fuses etc and the feed to the resistor from the control head.
Hope this helps
